JJ and Arnt,

Very nice benches. I would consider myself lucky if only I had the space for such beauties as those, let alone own one.

JJ, that's just beautiful.
Are you gonna 'burst it?

Steve
Steve I'll wager a bunch you spend a good part of your after school hours in detention hall
Well, a time or two....

JJ--the next bench can be Waterfall Bubinga, no?
I mean, since you do the whole leveling process by hand, wouldn't that be fun?

Steve...I already had "more fun than a human being should be allowed to have" on this one so there probably won't be another in this decade.

During the fun process of leveling I was thinking of what it would be like to use a softer wood and after leveling apply some treatment that would soak in and harden the wood fibers. I have no idea even if there is such a treatment...perhaps the Danish oil imparts some degree of hardness.

WFB sure would look nice though!

Thanks for the story behind the making JJ, it sure makes me want to build me one like this but it sure is a lot of time and care to put on it!

Arnt, great restoration job, it really looks nice and sturdy too!

Kudos on both of you guys!

Following directions and taking your time...an interesting concept, especially if it gets results like yours, J.J.! Very nice!

Arnt...great recycling job! Do you do that on buildings, too?

Nice stuff JJ. I'm sure a lot of nice guitars will come to life there. Congrats!
